About

This program provides a clear roadmap for graduate students in the Embodied Brain Technology Practicum to transition neuroscience and engineering concepts into viable neurotechnology startups. It covers the complete entrepreneurial journey, from adopting an investor's perspective and sizing markets using the TAM/SAM/SOM framework to navigating complex FDA regulatory pathways and university intellectual property. Designed in partnership by the Carney Institute for Brain Science at Brown University and Ben-Gurion University, the course equips founders with the tools to build credible pitch decks and identify competitive moats. The curriculum moves into practical application, ending with strategies for the Dolphin Tank pitch competition.
